Candles and New Blog Design
Did you know that you can use stamps to put images on candles? I was trying a swirl technique I saw with ink pads (my two favorite colors lagoon and gypsy) and a video I saw on YouTube. I used some white tissue paper, a heat tool and the Quick Cards-Butterfly stamp.
I bought some staz-on ink and I am going to try some tumbles tiles from Home Depot soon.

Happy Graduation Class of 2012
I got this idea from a message sent from the InkyFingersGang Yahoo group.
It is a box from the Art Philosophy Cartridge with the flaps cut down.
I used a spring to make the cap bounce.
The 2012 is from some punches I had but you could cut them from the cricut.
The from I cut from Art Philosophy and used the Dotty for You Paper and stamps that came with the cartridge.
Velcro holds the card shut.
The recipient has messages on all sides of the flaps.
I used some retired CTMH stamps and the Art Philosophy stamp sets.
Dotty For You Mini Album
You can make lots of Mini Albums from one sheet of 12x12 cardstock. I had to practice before I used my Dotty For You Paper. I will have to place another order soon so I can get another pack.
Sorry the pictures came out so blurry. I used mailing tags from Staples but you can use your cricut or there cutting machine to make tags. The front was cut from the Art Philosophy Cartridge and I used A Tree for the butterflies and sentiment. I used something from my husbands toolbox to bind my album and ran it through the cuttlebug dot folder.
If I make another one I would think about the direction of my paper so the butterflies aren't sideways.
Happy Mother's Day
I hope all the mom's are having a great day.
I made this card last night for mother in law.
Thanks to this site
http://digitalartbydani.blogspot.com/ it was very easy to make.
I cut it out on Silhouette Cameo and used some paper I had in my craft room.
I also used some pearls that I bought at AC Moore for $1.
I love the details you can cut with the Silhouette and that you don't need a cartridge.
I still use my Cricut but I love having both.
My craft room is almost organized.
