A Little Birdy Birthday Card

A Little Birdy Birthday Card

I was watching some CTMH videos and I wanted to try some new techniques and to use one of my favorite stamp sets, Life Is Tweet - June stamp of the month (ONLY $5 if you spend $50) and don't forget stamps are buy 2 get one free this month.

I used a Studio g card base and stamped my sentiment. The bird is stamped onto my card and on a piece of Bazzill basics cardstock and cut it out to place over the stamped image. I stamped the party hat and cut it out and placed it on the birds head. To finish the card I used bitty opaque and a cuttlebug folder along the side.

Happy Graduation Class of 2012

Happy Graduation Class of 2012

I got this idea from a message sent from the InkyFingersGang Yahoo group.
It is a box from the Art Philosophy Cartridge with the flaps cut down.
I used a spring to make the cap bounce.
The 2012 is from some punches I had but you could cut them from the cricut.
The from I cut from Art Philosophy and used the Dotty for You Paper and stamps that came with the cartridge.
Velcro holds the card shut.
The recipient has messages on all sides of the flaps.
I used some retired CTMH stamps and the Art Philosophy stamp sets.

Free Stamp Set and New Card

The first person to spend $100 on my new website and send me an email will get this stamp set.
I have only been playing with my stamps for a short time but I already have a favorite for cards.
It is the Wonderful You Incentive Stamp Set (W332) that comes in the consultant kit.

Here is the 3x3 notecard I made with it:

I used the following supplies:
Swiss Dots embossing folder
3/4" square punch
2 flowers with a brad in the center
ribbon I had in my craft room

I used a white piece of paper for the layer and sponged the lagoon ink one it to make the embossing stand out.
The Thinking of You was stamped on white paper with second generation inking and cut out with a square punch.
